If you want extra support with your reading, writing or numeracy, you can enrol in a lower-cost Smart and Skilled foundation skills course.
Foundation skills are basic language, literacy, numeracy and computer skills that help people find a job or enter vocational training. The courses include Certificate I qualifications in these areas:

Fees for foundation skills courses are between $220 and $320, which means that students only pay an average 10 per cent of the cost of the course.
Some students may be exempt from course fees or may pay a concession fee.
